About the Studio
Smileline is a dental studio comprised of four dentists and one oral hygienist who practice from a quaint cottage in Claremont, an upmarket suburb in Cape Town. On-site parking is available for patients.

Dr Deks Dekenah, the studio owner, has been established in Claremont since 1985 during which time his practice has gained recognition for excellent dental care and he has gained status as one of the foremost oral care professionals in Cape Town.

Fees
Our fees are based on the carefully researched rates recommended by the South African Dental Association (SADA rates).
Medical Aid
Although our fees are not based on the so-called ‘Scale of Benefits’ or ‘Medical Aid Rates’, we will be happy to offer administrative assistance in dealing with the various medical aid companies. However, the responsibility for the settlement of the account is still that of the account holder.

Credit Facility
Fees are payable at the time of treatment as statements are immediately available. Should you wish to make use of our credit facility, it is important to arrange this in advance with our Practice Administrator. Interest at current bank rates will be payable on all outstanding credit. To help you plan financially for your dental care needs, we invite all our patients to ask for verbal or written estimates for the required treatment.
PLEASE NOTE
Smileline is a private dental practice and is not directly affiliated or contracted with any medical aid schemes. All treatments are payable on the day of service. We provide detailed invoices and quotations that include the relevant procedure and ICD-10 codes, which you can submit to your medical aid for possible reimbursement according to your plan’s benefits. Patients are responsible for submitting their own claims.
