About the Studio

Smileline is a dental studio comprised of four dentists and one oral hygienist who practice from a quaint cottage in Claremont, an upmarket suburb in Cape Town. On-site parking is available for patients.

Caring for your teeth and mouth plays an extremely important role in your general health, and so, bearing this in mind, Smileline staff offer you an unsurpassed approach to oral and dental care matched with outstanding service, where your individual needs and comfort are of the highest priority.

Dr Deks Dekenah, the studio owner, has been established in Claremont since 1985 during which time his practice has gained recognition for excellent dental care and he has gained status as one of the foremost oral care professionals in Cape Town.

Fees

Our fees are based on the carefully researched rates recommended by the South African Dental Association (SADA rates).

Medical Aid
Although our fees are not based on the so-called ‘Scale of Benefits’ or ‘Medical Aid Rates’, we will be happy to offer administrative assistance in dealing with the various medical aid companies. However, the responsibility for the settlement of the account is still that of the account holder.

Payment Options
To make the settlement of your dental care account more comfortable and convenient, we offer you several payment options:

Fees are payable at the time of treatment as statements are immediately available. Should you wish to make use of our credit facility, it is important to arrange this in advance with our Practice Administrator. Interest at current bank rates will be payable on all outstanding credit. To help you plan financially for your dental care needs, we invite all our patients to ask for verbal or written estimates for the required treatment.

We offer single-visit crowns (CEREC): Drs Dekenah and Bodenstein are members of the International Digital Dental Academy (IDDA).
